I'm pleased to report that our flight wasn't delayed. We left Hartford as scheduled and arrived in Miami at 9:30 a.m. We got to Islamorada early in the afternoon. Below is a picture of two of the complex's ten units (E1 on the left and E2 on the right). We're staying in E2.
The unit has two floors. The first floor has a good size kitchen, bathroom, and a spacious living room that flows out onto a screen porch with ocean views. The second floor consists of two bedrooms and two full baths. Below is the view from the porch off the master bedroom.
The most unique feature in the unit is the two spiral staircases. One takes you from the first floor to the second and another takes you from the porch off the master bedroom onto the roof. Below is a picture of the first floor staircase.
